Alvarez Artist Series models have hand selected tops that deliver consistently high quality with optimal tonal qualities. These guitar tops are hand sanded, and have quartersawn
braces which encourage more vibration to be distributed throughout the top and helps produce a bigger tone with good low end response. Dovetail neck joints optimize the transfer of energy between the neck
and body. Alvarez's bi-level rosewood bridge also helps to transfer vibration to the top from the strings, improving tone and resonance. Real bone nuts and saddles increase sustain and tone. Premium die-cast tuning machines provide stability and reliability. In line with more expensive guitars, mother of pearl and abalone inlays define the look of the Alvarez Artist Series guitars.
This Alvarez Artist series model AD60 6 string acoustic guitar features a great sounding traditional dreadnought body style that's made from a
quartersawn solid
"A" grade Sitka spruce top with scalloped bracing and mahogany back & sides. This is a tried and true tonewood
combination that produces a balanced, clear and powerful tone.
This acoustic guitar also features a solid dovetail neck/body joint for the best possible transfer of energy between the neck and the body, real
bone nut and saddle for maximum tone and sustain, stylish yet simple multi-layer body bindings, white binding around the neck
for a smooth playing feel, a smooth 20 fret rosewood fingerboard with 12th fret inlay, distinctly shaped Alvarez bi-level solid rosewood bridge,
D'Addario EXP coated strings, black pickguard and premium quality die cast chrome tuners for tuning stability.
