Alvarez Yairi acoustic guitars are made in a stubbornly old-fashioned workshop, hidden in the still beauty of the Japanese mountains in the
village of Gifu — far from the computerized factories of high-volume guitar manufacturers. In fact, when other guitar companies were
building even larger factories, Kazuo Yairi, was buying wood. When other makers moved to simpler techniques, Yairi remained resolute in

traditional cutaway body with a solid Cedar top tonewood with hand carved scalloped bracing, natural satin finish, and beautiful burled mahogany back and sides, also with satin finish. This acoustic/electric guitar also has
a 25 3/8" scale Mahogany neck, the superb System 600T Mark II preamp system which
features a built-in chromatic tuner, multiband EQ with sweepable mid control, notch filter to control feedback, phase switch and more.
More features include natural Maple body bindings, rosewood direct coupled bridge, abalone rosette sound hole inlay,
