Alvarez Artist Series models have hand selected tops that deliver consistently high quality with optimal tonal qualities. These guitar tops are hand sanded, and have quartersawn
braces which encourage more vibration to be distributed throughout the top and helps produce a bigger tone with good low end response. Dovetail neck joints optimize the transfer of energy between the neck
and body. Alvarez's bi-level rosewood bridge also helps to transfer vibration to the top from the strings, improving tone and resonance. Real bone nuts and saddles increase sustain and tone. Premium die-cast tuning machines provide stability and reliability. In line with more expensive guitars, mother of pearl and abalone inlays define the look of the Alvarez Artist Series guitars.
This Alvarez AC65CE Artist series 6 string classical acoustic/electric guitar features a great sounding body
made with a hand selected, hand sanded solid Cedar top and Mahogany back & sides, making this one of Alvarez's most
popular Artist classical models.
Other features include gloss finish, traditional Spanish heel neck joint, real bone nut and saddle for maximum tone and sustain, beautiful wood mosaic rosette at the
sound hole, classic rosewood body bindings, smooth rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, Savarez strings and premium quality tuners.
The B-Band Alvarez SYS650 is a dual pickup preamp system. The patented electret under-saddle pickup yields a tone that is more
"acoustic" than the typical Piezo pickup, and when blended with the soundboard transducer, excellent reproduction of the guitar's "voice" is
achieved. Either pickup can be used independently, or blended together. This system also features a backlit LCD display, fully
chromatic precision built-in tuner, 3-band rotary EQ and a notch filter to handle nasty feedback issues.
As with all Alvarez instruments, this guitar has Alvarez's limited lifetime warranty. All of our guitars are inspected, set-up and photographed in our shop before shipment to you!!
