Whether you’re recording, mixing or mastering, the Behringer Composer Pro-XL MDX2600 gives you total dynamic control.  Packing even more features into a small chassis than the Autocom Pro-XL, the Composer Pro-XL has fully adjustable compression, adjustable noise gate/expander, dynamic enhancer and even an adjustable peak limiter to avoid costly speaker damage from a sudden extreme sound.  There are two independent compressors in this unit, which may be operated separately...say on a bass drum and a vocal, or linked together for use such as the overall stereo mix in a live venue.  Additionally, the MDX2600 features authentic tube emulation circuitry for a warm sound, a unique adjustable IDE dynamic enhancer that provides subtle and very musical high frequency compensation for the bass “boost” effect that results from heavy compression, a voice-adaptive de-esser and 12 segment LED meters.

The rear panel has both balanced XLR and balanced 1/4" TRS inputs and outputs with -10dBV and +4 dBU operating level switch for maximum connection flexibility.
