Every Celestion guitar speaker benefits from four generations of skill and experience. But inevitably some become more famous than
others, cherished for their unique tonal characteristics, sensitivity and responsiveness. The G12, born in in the ‘60s, became available in
a variety of different magnet sizes, developing into a range of high quality loudspeakers. But it was the G12T-75 that rose to the fore
and is now widely acclaimed as a great rock/metal/thrash guitar speaker. One of the best selling speakers of all time, it has a wide
frequency range and excellent sensitivity. Emphasis is on huge bass, relaxed mids and vibrant highs which make for a brutal sound - solid
and fat with plenty of sparkle. Its heavy duty aspect means that it handles extreme high gain and distortion like a gladiator.
This speaker will also retain a clean sound at much higher power levels than others can take. If you’re a multi-talented frontman of the
band, this speaker is great for amplifying other instruments as well. Just try miking a harmonica through it: the results are truly amazing.
