It is often said that "beauty is skin deep". The Dean Edge 1 Bass is clearly the exception to the rule! While beauty was the inspiration of
the Dean Edge, Dean put every bit of our 20 plus years of design experience into these models. The body is styled and
contoured for comfort and make from hard basswood to make them lighter. The maple necks were profiled to be fast and sleek.
Dean designed a "uniquely Dean" custom neck joint and heel along with the asymmetrical 4 bolt pattern
creating uninterrupted access all the way up the two octave neck. |
The Dean Edge 1 electric bass guitar has a bolt-on maple neck with a 34" scale, 24 frets and dot inlays on a rosewood fingerboard.
The width of the neck at the nut is 1 9/16". This bass also has die cast tuners, chrome hardware, dual soapbar pickups and heavy duty bridge.
Shown in Transparent Red (4 String Only) but is also available in Transparent Amberburst (5 string only) and Classic Black in both 4 & 5 string versions.
