American growl, but with sparkle, definition and edgy top-end. Very vintage! Used in reissues of some of your favorite amps. The Legend 125 has a high power, vintage seamed cone tonality for guitar, and is an ideal vintage alnico Jensen replacement.
In 2 x 12" applications using 'The Twin' or a Marshall, the speaker has a smooth tone and response curve, but it can really cut through the mix.
Superb classic Blues tones prevail. It exhibits less low end than the Eminence 121 or the
GB12.
This speaker is also an awesome choice for 4 X 12" cabinets. Eminence highly recommends considering a pair of Legend 125s with a pair of Legend GB12s.
This combination makes use of the great top end of the 125 and the great low end of the GB12 for a cabinet with lots of guts! It is perfect for
delivering crunchy, southern rock tones or grunge and metal.
This speaker has an 8 ohm impedance rating, 75 watts continuous power handling capability, 1.5" copper voice coil, Kapton former
material, 34 oz. ferrite magnet weight and stamped frame. The frequency response is a wide ranging 80 Hz - 4,000 Hz.
