The Evans EQ2 is an extra-durable two-ply (10mil external ply, 6.5mil internal ply) bass drum head with an internal overtone control ring, a removable EQ muffle ring, and
dry-vents. The Evans EQ2 Clear gives the microphone what it wants to hear, yet can project without mikes.
With extra slap and ample boom, its extreme articulation and ultimate endurance make the EQ2 especially suitable for intricate and heavy footwork.
