You choose the tone! With fourteen modules to choose from and more in the works, having a new amp is as simple as plugging in
a new module. Start with as few as one, or as many as you like and have all your favorite tones right at your fingertips. All modules can be
used for the RM4 preamp, RM combos and RM heads. All modules utilize the same panel layout, which includes Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble and Master controls.
A bright switch is included directly under each Bass control. Each preamp module houses two 12AX7 tubes which can be easily changed or
replaced. Use the thumbscrews to remove or secure each module to the front panel of every MTS amplifier.
Module Descriptions:
Ultra
Extreme hi-gain, with tight low end and liquid sustain. This one exemplifies the Randall tone, and is perfect for any classic to modern metal tone.
UltraXL
A modern version of our legendary hi-gain tone, the new Ultra XL has massive amounts of liquid gain combined with huge bottom end and cutting upper mid-range. A true legend in the making!
Treadplate
Based on the preamp circuit of a Mesa/Boogie® Dual Rectifier. Cutting tone with strong mid-range. It has defined the modern day rock and Nu-Metal tone.
SL +
Based on the preamp circuit of a hot rodded Marshall® Super Lead. We give the classic Super Lead circuit a bit more gain and punch. It will handle anything from Zeppelin to Zakk.
Plexi
Based on the preamp circuit of a classic Marshall® Plexi. Anywhere from Page, to Angus, to Gibbons. The amp that defines 70's rock and punk tone.
Top Boost
Based on the preamp circuit of a Vox® AC30TB with a little more kick in the front end. Chimy hi-end that will handle anything from classic Petty, to Brian May to modern Lenny Kravitz.
Tweed
Based on the preamp circuit of a '59 Fender® Bassman™. Great for all blues tones with a huge bottom end and nice bite in the gain circuit. Perfect for SRV.
Blackface
Based on the preamp circuit of a Fender® Blackface Twin™. Legendary clean tone with cutting mid-range and sparking highs. The standard for a wide-range of cleans.
DLX
Based on the preamp circuit of a Fender® Blackface Deluxe™. Tone that bleeds country music. Great mid-range and top end spank, with more bite than the Blackface.
Clean
Very warm and round. A perfect clean tone for the jazz and blues guitarist, or any guitarist looking for a smooth, robust, clean sound.
JTM
Based on the preamp circuit of a classic Marshall® JTM45. Classic mid-gain amp with good bottom end.
XTC
Based on the preamp circuit of a Bogner® Ecstasy red channel. An all around great hi-gain tone with tight low end and cutting mid-range. It will cover any rock to metal tone. This one screams!

Based on Kirk¹s classic clean tones, the voicing of this preamp is based on various clean amps that Kirk has used through out his illustrious career. A great clean tone for any style, but

A clean module with Vox like tone characteristics. Nice chime on the high's with warm low bottom end. Sounds very acoustic like due to reduced mid-range.

BRAHMA
A mouth watering classic hi-gain tone that represents George's signature rhythm sound. This preamp has the classic
British voicing with signature American tone modifications. It's a Lynch's variation of the vintage Plexi tone.

MR. SCARY
What we've all been waiting for! It's the patented Lynch heavy rhythm and lead tone of Dokken and Lynch Mob era. It
has similar voicing to that of the Brahma with addition gain and punch. The standard 80's high gain tone with tight low end and impressive gain.
