Like others in the EMX family, the EMX5014C is a fully integrated mixer offering a range of features to mix, process, and deliver your sound
with maximum quality and creative control. Equipped with ultra lightweight amplifier circuits, power is the priority of the 500-watt per channel multi-mode stereo power section.
A total of 14 input channels accommodate mics, instruments and playback gear with a selection of mono mic/line and stereo line inputs.
Connections include XLR, TRS 1/4-in. phone, and RCA. A power mode switch allows the two amplifier channels to be used with the stereo outputs,
drive main speakers and separate monitor mixes, while power amp mode selector switches allow the user to configure the amp channels to suit a range of applications.
MIX, PROCESS AND DELIVER WITH THE EMX5014C
For sound shaping and feedback control, the EMX5014C includes 3-band EQ on each input channel, a stereo 9-band graphic EQ on the main stereo
output. Each channel also contains a Feedback Channel Locator (FCL) indicator that pinpoints the input channel creating the problem.
Additionally, channels 1 thru 6 provide single knob compressors. This Yamaha exclusive feature is great for controlling unruly vocals or tightening up a bass guitar.

Onboard signal processing includes a selection of 16 professional-grade programs (reverb, echo, chorus, flanger, phaser, drum ambiance and
distortion) from Yamaha's renowned SPX series processor products. In addition, onboard proprietary YSProcessing tailors the signal for optimum use with Yamaha's Club Series loudspeakers.
The EMX5014C is housed in a lightweight (under 24 lb.) standard mixer format that can be used as a stand-alone unit or rack mounted with the optional RK5014 kit for space-saving convenience.
Built-in Digital Effects
There's an astonishing amount of signal processing power packed into the compact chassis of the
EMX mixers. They incorporate a versatile
digital multi-effect processor that provides a range of reverb, delay, modulation, and distortion programs you can use to refine and define
your sound. Each of the 16 effect programs has a number of editable parameters as well as effect on/off switching capability and return
level control. You can even blend the effects into the aux sends for "wet" monitoring, so the performers can hear the effects too. If you
need to keep both hands free to play an instrument or perform other operations, an optional footswitch can be connected to the mixer's
effect footswitch jack for convenient on/off switching.
Built-in Channel Compressors
This advanced feature can be a tremendous advantage in achieving
great vocal sound, as well as to refine the sound of bass, guitar, and
other sources. You won't find built-in channel compression on too many other mixers in this class, but in the new MG mixers you have Yamaha's
innovative one-knob compression feature on several of the mono input channels. Conventional audio compressors with their threshold, ratio,
knee, makeup gain and other controls can be complex and time consuming to set appropriately for a given source. Yamaha's one-knob compressor
