The Yamaha DTX520K electronic kit features the XP80 DTX-PAD for the snare, allowing true snare drum playing techniques to be developed when used for practice or performance.  Utilizing the TCS head for superior stick feel, the XP80 provides snare head, open rimshot, and closed rimshot voices in each of the three zones for authentic snare expression.  The ride and crash cymbals both feature three zones that allow for cup, bow and edge voices and are “choke-able”.  The realistic sounds of the DTX500 module lets you sound your best, and with the advanced practice tools and easy song recorder you will be getting better all the time.

The module features a high-quality tone generator packed with 427 sounds. There is a variety of practice songs that allows you to mute the drums to play along or record, and the built-in training functions will help improve your drumming. An AUX IN jack lets you connect a music player to practice with your favorite tunes. The DTX520 Series brings Yamaha’s renown electronic drum technology within reach of the beginner, the hobbyist, and educator.
