The APX series places emphasis on playability with a stylish slim body profile that fits the musicians body.  As for cosmetics, the APX700 features a beautiful mother-of-pearl sound hole ring inlay, white fingerboard binding, white/black body binding, mother-of-pearl APX & Yamaha headstock logos and position markers. This model comes in five amazing color variations.
 
The APX700 features the newly developed System56 A.R.T. (Acoustic Resonance Transducer) 1-way preamplifier system. This configuration features one main pickup system consisting of two A.R.T pickups underneath the saddle. The 3-band EQ gives the ability to control the mid-range frequency for precise control and tonal flexibility. The preamp also features an onboard tuner.
